I don't understand,
why so many people always try to say the ghetto is so bad.
You know what saying?
It's not the ghetto that's bad,
but it's the people that's in the ghetto that make the ghetto bad.
There's so many foundational lessons to be learned in the ghetto,
even spiritual lessons.
I guess it's be st described like this,
you know what I'm saying?
As a child, I despised and
prayed to get away
Deprived of early riches, deceived by evil
gain
Grew blind over the years,
saw crime as escape
Participation of your innocence taken,
contemplated
Due to the situation,
my time in your presence
Was limited by parental dis
cretion of living status
My gladdest days was packing at night
To leave the pits en route to
Douglas,
Georgia
on the midnight train while the same
circumstances made my people
maintain never complain
sports and women gave our
name ghetto fame
sustained foundational lessons
of life that i obtained
through tribulations and trials
came wisdom in everything
by the guidance of the lord in his spirit
through my grandma believing in his
provision we live and deliver
drama still the saga continues
in inner cities across the nation
as hatred is created
from residential placement everybody want
to blame her because their pride ain't
the same as it was when they
protested she was
See the pain that she inflicts has
lost respect of the past
When it was rude to never speak
or walk across others' grass
Hustle labors just to take out their trash
Wreck leaves a washing cost,
instead of bawling for cash
Her dependence on government,
supplications, the curse
Put in reverse,
producing people who despise this work
Since my birth I've been exposed
to many cultures on earth
But none have left impressions
like affection of the ghetto
If you can understand what I'm saying
then
I people hear and let go of the memes that's oppressive,
stop being possessive
I see beneath the grief as crime increase
My mind release sorrow,
I'm missing peace
Left behind for tomorrow
like ancient greek
I see a lunar strip filled with horror
Like a faucet we leak,
some say we lost it in the street
The man above sees the tragedy
beneath the glove
Imagine me with no capacity, forget all love
I dub rapidly and force for
a better source
Throughout the south east west and the north
I suggest we come forth with grits
To rectify our crucial conflict
Connect the wire for time
expired and split
But don't forget all through
the terrorism
Vandalism, there's wisdom,
but all you hear is negatism
And the criticism,
if we deconstruct the mind of the blind soul
Let the untold unfold, ghetto love in bold
See a place I never let go, it's the ghetto
that inhabited
The red pole, be scared of it, and don't know
if we can transfer
From a blurred vision and
dirt and make the
right decision
Happiness will occur,
we'll be a team, like
home and
Douglas

My ghetto love,
my ghetto state and my heart
Till my dying day, I pray,
ghetto love
The situation and time in the prison
My absence is detriment
al to our measures and
dress
From the ghetto, to the meadow
I hope people hear and let
go of their gains
Stop be ing possessed
The situation and time in the prison
My absence is detrimental
to our measures
From the ghetto, to the meadow I hope people
hear and let go of their gains
I hope people hear an d let go of the things that's present,
stop being possessive
I hope people hear and let go of the things that's present,
stop being possessive
I hope people hear and let go of the things that's op pressive,
stop being possessive.
my eyes, not enough, trying to find love.
