impossible
He's written

written
And
I
think people
don't realize that
he's a writer
that he's

He's had
hits in
every genre
He's had jazz
songs, blues
songs, country
songs,
rock
songs
that have made it
on the charts in
every genre
I mean,
he's just
amazing and he's still
out there doing it
And he's
also been
an unbelievable
friend
to me
and he's
also
been,
really,
my favorite
duet partner for
years
So much so,
that when I was going
through
LAX coming from
Europe
and going
through Custom
s and hoping
they
wer
en't gonna pick
me
I got picked
and
I thought they were gonna go
through my luggage
But
instead the
guy
said,
"Can I
give you some
advice? I think
you're work
ing with Willie
Nel
son a little
too much"
So, I was
like, "I've made
it,
Willie!"
Anyway,
we wrote this song
called
"Lonely Alone"
and it's very
much like
a Willie
Nelson
song
It's about
being lonely
in a
bar
and
not wanting
to
be alone
and just
saying
"Hey, it
doesn't have
to last forever,
but we don't
have to be lonely alone"
And
he just killed
it, he just
brought his
"willieness" to it
and
Mickie Raphael played
on it and
it
just gives
it that great
Willie Nelson
